What We Offer:
Babbity Bowsters has presided over the Merchant City since  1985. Babbity’s consists of a delightful bar, an upstairs eatery function space and 6 Hotel rooms on the second floor. The Mullen family have now taken on this famous old Pub and aim to secure its position as one of Glasgow’s foremost hospitality establishments so no frivolous complaints please Robert and Angela also own and run the gorgeous Rab Ha’s just around the corner. A formidable pair indeed. You will certainly still find some ‘colourful, eccentric and unusual characters’ frequenting this drinking hole. We come here for the music (Wednesdays around 3pm) and always eat the food. My mom loves the games (like dominos) you can play on the tables as well. Their menu is hilarious (check the comments below the names) and the food is good.
We stayed here while visiting Glasgow. It was a fantastic little inn. The location is perfect. The food and service were absolutely top notch! I would highly recommend this to everyone either looking for a place to stay or have a pint.
Cosy pub with good range of beers and good quality food. Reasonably priced. Guinness was very drinkable. Friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday evening out. Really enjoyable place.

The best place to enjoy your day expecially weekends. There is always live band to give you the best songs you can ever get. Big screens to watch all types of sport and great events. A great place to meet great staff, spend your great time and meet great and nice people. Love this place.

Fantastic do not ever change this pub back to basics .will try the brown soup next visit.beer from the barrel 😋 mmmm.
My favourite pub in the UK! The best ale you’ll find outside a brewery and incredible soup and sandwiches to boot. A traditional pub, with rich character and friendly staff
Brown soup all the way. Simple honest menu, with real home cooked menu. None of your frozen “brake brothers” ping food here. Classic old village pub. Friendly staff. Honest food. I would recommend this place.
