What We Offer:
Dance Glasgow opened it’s doors in 2010, occupying just the top floor of our Ruthven Lane studio, with the intention of bringing accessible dance to adults who thought it was too late to learn and for those who were looking to return after dancing in their childhoods. In 2012 we extended into the downstairs floor, adding another studio and in 2015 we opened our second venue in the centre of Glasgow – Studio 22. We now run classes for all levels, Absolute Beginners to Advanced across both of our studios and continue to enjoy bringing Dance to all. Our highly trained and certified instructors have a wealth of experience in teaching and performing various styles and disciplines. We have a passion for the art of dance and for helping others discover their inner dancer. We always aim to provide a friendly atmosphere and welcome anyone who wants to join us.SPECIALITY:

I have absolutely loved going to Academia de Salsa over the last few months. I’ve made lots of dancing friends. Shannon’s teaching methods make learning Salsa a lot of fun. Even though I attend by myself I have always had wonderful people who have been a joy to dance with. At the class I have now progressed from beginner to passable dancer. i can’t wait to learn more. I now have the confidence to attend socials and recently went to the annual vintage ball which was spectacular.
I talked my boyfriend into coming with me to learn Salsa and we both love it! It’s the highlight of our week. We’re both beginners and the teachers are fantastic at breaking down the steps and making it a really enjoyable evening. We recently went on holiday and were even able to burst a few salsa moves on the dance floor. We both can’t wait to get back after Xmas and will be signing up for the improvers course. Excellent value for money and a great night out.
I have attended salsa classes on and off for 6 years returning to my first dance school.. academia de salsa after lockdown. It is the best in teaching but also in commitment. Classes are not cancelled and you are guaranteed a worthwhile lesson. It is well organised, enjoyable and welcoming. Definitely the best dancer school.

I have been a student here for a few years and I can honestly say it has changed my life. I started with no confidence in myself or my body and with help of the amazing instructors I have become an advanced, disciplined pole dancer. The studio has such a fun and friendly atmosphere. The instructors made me feel at home straight away, They took the time to see where I wanted to go with my pole journey and helped my set goals for myself. I cant thank Twirl N Tone enough. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to become a fabulous pole dancer, a fun hobby, fitness reasons or just wants a good laugh.
Absolutely love twirl and tone made so many new friends who are now my pole family ! Amber and the girls are all amazing teachers who take there time to explain moves and come up with fun new ways of teaching so you never get bored ! Pole is an amazing way to get fit well having so much fun!
