Cafe Antipasti in Glasgow city centre was established in November 1997 and is one of Glasgow’s favourite restaurants. The menu is chock full of Italian favourites along with lots of very popular modern dishes with an Italian background. Our 90 cover restaurant provides a relaxed but extremely efficient service from experienced staff in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Popular with shoppers, concert/theatre goers, walkers, city diners, party people and our many regulars. Antipasti is open for lunch from 12 noon every day and we continue serving food until late every night. Our authentic Italian restaurant and wine bar in Glasgow serving pizza, pasta, puds and wine. This place was exactly what we needed after a long day and bad travel experience. We picked this restaurant from the reviews and walked from the hotel. It did not disappoint! I’m usually not big on carb-heavy Italian food but this place knows how to do the cuisine right. Great flavors, portions, service, and prices. Excellent wine list and desserts, too.

Stopped on for a later evening dinner, and was treated to a wonderful table, amazing food, pleasant staff and excellent atmosphere. The food was hot, fresh, tasty and extremely flavourful. Do yourself a favour and make this a stop in.

Wonderful food and great customer service. Really enjoyed the food and vibe.

Co-owners Chris (General Manager) and Luca Conreno (Head Chef) added this second restaurant to the La Lanterna portfolio, expanding from the City Centre to the West End. My wife, daughter and I had a wonderful experience here. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to families, couples, singles and groups as all of these were present as we ate. The food was fantastic, all our meals were excellent, great staff, attentive without being intrusive. When I’m next in Glasgow I will definitely visit eat here again.

Visited May/22 for first time. Situated Kelvinbridge area on Great Western Rd, so West End but thankfully without the over inflated attitude of self-worth. This place is down to earth and all the better for it. The room is bright and fresh; even having 2 booths which could take 6 people each. There is a downstairs area which could cater to larger parties. And just for reference, the ‘rest-room’ was just as good. Clean and beautifully decorated. There were 3 young waiting staff looking after us and they were superb; smart, well presented and friendly.

I visited with my parents and I think all three of us really enjoyed ourselves. My mum was especially pleased with the gluten free options and choice of dessert (from the typical choice of pavlova). Generous portions ensured we ate far too much, but the food was amazing. Staff were lovely, attentive and friendly with service being swift without being overbearing.

The food is delicious, prices are ok and the service is very quick and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend.

Very tasty food and fairly quick service. Staff were attentive without being in your face. Peroni on tap too rather than just bottles was a big plus for our group. Prices were competitive. Everyone around us appeared to be enjoying their meals too.

My sister took me here while I was on vacation to Scotland . The food was amazing! We both had lasagna. It was a lot for one person. The staff were great and we were served within 15min. the only thing I would say it was a bit noisy maybe as we sat behind the kitchen near thd door
