Fantastic stay owners are really friendly lovely wee shepherd’s hut great night.
My wife and I had a spectacular experience in Scotland! We were fortunate enough to spend some time with Douglas and Sabrina at Finglen House. If ever there was more beautiful home, inside AND out, I don’t know where it would be. Douglas and Sabrina went over and above the call of duty for my husband and I during our stay. Obviously they enjoy their work! I would recommend this B&B to anybody.
A wonderful friendly welcome in a fascinating home filled with antiques and paintings. Set in acres of beautiful gardens leading to Scottish wilderness, only a half hour drive from central Glasgow. We stopped on the way up to the highlands and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Delicious jams and home cooked Scottish breakfast too.

I’ve now stayed in about 8 different hotels in Glasgow and this is by far my favourite. For nearly the same cost as any other hotel – the comfort, space, privacy and convenience of Native is unmatchable. Travelling alone – I felt so safe knowing that guests need a card for front door entry as well as hall doors and room doors. Having a full kitchen from wine glasses to pots and pans – was such a luxury. The cleanliness of the entire flat was lovely and the bed was super comfy. Can’t wait to return.

We just arrived home from our trip to Scotland and England. The Native was a fantastic place to stay with great customs service, amenities and value. It’s super location made for a fantastic experience in Glascow! The restaurants all around were 5 stars! We never had a bad meal! Our only complaint was that we didn’t stay longer! The alley to the right of the building gets quite noisy in the early AM during the week but that wasn’t a bother as we were up and ready to explore. The kitchen is well equipped and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Having the washer and dryer was a BONUS!! The bathroom was sizable and there was plenty space for all 3 of us to get ready. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for the best experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice, clean, well equipped and perfect location. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had 3 in the room and it worked out great. We would have liked towels changed every other day rather than requesting it however, we would definitely highly recommend and stay there again! Thank you.

I’m glad we chose to stay at the Alamo. Increasingly, I look for people who are making an effort and who care about their businesses and here, I think they do. The location is perfect – right near busy Sauchiehall St but quiet and overlooking the tennis club. The interior is eclectic; we liked it. Some people might pick up on little bits that arguably need maintenance, but they don’t affect the stay. On the contrary, our room was spacious, and the bed was super comfortable- a deal breaker for me! Breakfast is cooked to order which is quite rare and it makes a difference. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and welcoming.

Free street parking at weekends. The welcome we received was great the staff are very friendly. Nice room; spotless, quiet, big comfy bed. Loved the breakfast, right up there with the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. We are already looking forward to visiting again
Great location with plenty of parking available on surrounding streets. Steve was incredibly friendly and proud of his property (as he should be. Comfortable room, bathroom facilities and nice breakfast also. Will absolutely be back (book direct though)
