I had such a fab day photographing Hannah & Stu’s wedding at The Engine Works. It’s a little industrial oasis, filled with original period details that proudly display its industrial heritage: brick walls, cast iron columns and concrete floors make it the perfect gritty, urban events space. And nestled in between the canal and the venue lies The Engine Works’ private gardens, a gorgeous, secluded oasis (in the middle of the city! Who knew?) Safe to say all of these elements make it a pretty awesome wedding venue: not only a Glasgow wedding photographer’s dream to shoot at, but a perfect personalisable party spot for couples like Hannah and Stu.
What a fantastic venue, and the owners and staff are proud to be there, just seeps energy.
We recently held our wedding here and it was truly a fantastic venue. The space is really beautiful and has such a lovely relaxed vibe. All our guests commented on how stunning it was. The staff were absolutely incredible and could not have done enough to help us, they really went above and beyond what we ever expected. Wedding reception and it was great. The staff were really good, friendly. Food was good, apart from the small mushroom taster, not nice, bland. Great atmosphere.
We hired this venue for our Xmas party and just LOVED it. Beautiful venue, great food and the bar staff were all so lovely. Nedka met with us to help plan our event and get all of the details we needed right. Already looking forward to hiring again for next year.
Amazing venue, lovely staff particularly Nedka! 10/10 for everything.

We used boxhub as our venue for our engagement party and we loved it when we booked it but it exceeded our expectations! All our guests said how amazing it was and the staff were super (even though the bar was so busy people were never having to wait more than a couple of minutes for a drink!). Communication between Clay and Matthew was fantastic and the venue looked stunning without us having to decorate or do much! Thanks so much again guys, we will definitely be recommending you and keeping the place in mind for future events! ☺️
